i hear her hum
deep within
she purrs low tones
as she begins
feral
raw
her protracted sigh
implores movement
hips
thighs
shoulders sway
skin rankles
shucks shackles away
toes that press mud
and slide in grass
convey her current
ankle to calf
knee to navel
nape to lobe
‘til each hair attends
on end
in rows
what once was
a murmur
now sizzles
explodes
she demands release
and doffs control
